Welcome to the magical world of childhood! Imagine a world transformed, where kids explore and celebrate imagination. Step into the magical and quirky world of the Children's Festival held every year in Nevada City, California. This whimsical event turns the area into its own Renaissance fair, giving kids the opportunity to take the lead and live out their own fun-filled adventure. For one day each year, kids become kings and queens of their own summer kingdom full of crafts, games, performances, and more. From Pirate Skool to the wandering performers, kids are both enchanted and immersed in activities. All of the activities are included in the entry fee thanks to generous volunteers and donations. The cardboard castle that kids get to paint however they like, the metal-sculpted dragon, the lemon with a stick of peppermint. All of it is iconic and precious. Discover the delight of this vibrant and unique event and get ready to be carried away on a journey through the magical world that's the Children's Festival.
