Welcome Year of the Rat!
Nevada City hosts a lovely celebration each year to welcome the Chinese Lunar New Year featuring dragons, dancers, and Taiko drummers. The celebration is a wonderful time for the community to welcome the year ahead. This year, Erin and Dan of the Outside Inn and Inn Town Campground were Grand Marshalls. The parade included Chinese ceremonial Lion Dancers and a 72’ Chinese Dragon from Eastern Ways Martial Arts of Sacramento, Grass Valley Taiko drummers, and local talent.
